Fred Dassori is Head of US Principal Rates Electronic Trading at Credit Suisse, and CEO and President of Wake USA LLC, a joint venture between Credit Suisse and Tower Research Capital LLC. Wake, founded in 2014, is a component of Credit Suisse’s fixed income electronic trading business.
Fred joined Credit Suisse in 2004 in equity research and has held various roles in investment banking strategy, corporate development, and fixed income eCommerce, with a primary focus on Credit Suisse’s strategy with regard to fixed income market structure. He has represented Credit Suisse in a range of external investments and partnerships, including TradingScreen, ELX, where he served as a member of the board, CME’s OTC derivatives clearing initiatives, and The Clearing Corp (TCC), where he acted as an advisor to the board.
From 1999-2002, Fred led product development at Internet Learning Corp., an e-learning start-up based in San Francisco. Prior to that, Fred worked in motion picture production and development, based in Los Angeles.
He received his B.A. from Yale University, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
